New exhibition of Stefan Hajinikolov in Varna
This year, Stefan will present his latest landscapes at gallery Art Markoni (28 Ohrid Street).
The opening of the exhibition is at 6.30 pm on August 28. The event will continue for two weeks.


Musician Devorina Gamalova presents her new book

The Bulgarian-German musician and writer Devorina Gamalova obtained her violin performing and teaching diplomas from the Music Academies in Sofia and Dresden, PG certificate in violin and viola from RCM and GSMD in London and in 2008 was awarded a PhD degree outright at the University of West London. Among her teachers were Grigory Zhislin (whom she later assisted at the Royal College of Music in London), Boyan Letchev (D Oistrach’s pupil), Dora Bratchkova and Anelia Popova.
She worked as principal leader in Germany and later moved to UK focusing on solo performance and teaching (currently at Trinity Laban Conservatoire and London College of Music). Many of her students achieved high results in their exams, won competitions and scholarships.
Gamalova concertises as a soloist and recitalist and gives masterclasses and lectures around the globe. She has numerous recordings and publications in different languages and countries, was a songwriter and brought to life a new music form of works for violin and viola performed by one soloist.
Gamalova was recitalist for Menuhin's 'LMN' bringing live classical music to disadvantaged people and continues transmitting this mission worldwide under the motto "Live Music for All."
Among her awards are the 'Crystal Lyre‘ for high artistic achievements from the Union of the Bulgarian Musicians and Dancers and an 'Honorary Diploma' from the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture.
She founded and was/is Artistic Director of numerous educative and social music projects and runs the ‘Blagorodna Charity’ BG in aid of young musicians.
